Based at California Polytechnic State University, Dr. Lin collaborates with experts worldwide, studying the impact that emerging technologies (e.g., nanotechnology, robotics, human enhancement, cybersecurity, military technologies, others) may have on society, economics, politics, health, morality, and all that other good stuff. He is currently helping to lead an NSF-funded study on the ethical and social impacts of AI and robotics on food and cooking.
